This four-bedroom apartment belongs to a south Indian family of four based out of Kenya who will be soon relocating to Bangalore. The apartment will serve as the permanent home for the middle-aged couple and their 2 young daughters. Apart from the extensive use of reclaimed wood and other natural finishes, the family aspired for a modern home that carried a certain sophisticated Indian charm. The entire palette of colours, materials and textures used throughout the house are inspired by the stunning grasslands of Masai Mara, a place that carries a lot of significance to the family.
